A beast of a program. All of the filters are user generated and they can all be used for commercial purposes. It’s not a cheap program but it can definitely pay for itself. It can be used as a stand alone program or as a PhotoShop plugin. It’s a very powerful program so be warned that it might eat up your laptops processing power and drain it’s battery! This is the program I use the most for all of my abstract art, it might take a few hours to generate my images but I love having the ability to render images at (almost) any size I want.

One Lab

​These are mobile apps available through Google Play. They have a great variety of effects and filters. Although the output results in smaller images than desktop applications, i find these apps very useful for generating art of buttons, keychains, and other small products. It can make animations too, which is a lot of fun!

I’m using this PhotoShop plugin to create my Pride Flag mandalaa and kaleidoscopes! This filter creates beautiful symmetrical art, and its very easy to use. It might be a little clunky on the rendering side of things, but I find that the amazing images it generates are worth the wait.

​I’m using this app to create fractal art based on all of the pride flags I can! This is a very powerful IOS app that can create beautiful complex fractal art from scratch or based on images you import. With a pro account you can send your fractals to the Frax servers where they render your fractal art at high resolutions! I love fractals and this is one of my favorite art apps I’ve ever used.
